Who runs TechStepsHQ
TechStepsHQ was founded and is edited by Muhammad Azeem, who has spent years fixing phones, computers, TVs and apps for clients and family. He started this site to put clear, trustworthy fixes in one place. Our guides are written and published by the TechStepsHQ Editorial Team, and Muhammad is accountable for everything we publish.
Every guide follows the official support documentation for the software version it covers, and is re-checked when that software updates.
When you read a guide here, you’ll always see which software version it covers and when it was last checked.
Why this site exists
Menus change with every update, and most guides are out of date. A setting that lived in one place last year is often renamed or moved today, which makes old instructions confusing or simply wrong. TechStepsHQ exists to give you steps that match the phone, computer or TV in front of you right now.
How our guides are made
- Research. We start with the questions people actually search for.
- Check the official docs. We follow Apple, Google, Samsung, Microsoft or the app’s own help pages for the current software version. When our team has the device, we also run the steps ourselves and say so with a “Tested on” note.
- Write numbered steps. Each guide answers the question first, then walks through short, numbered steps with the exact menu names.
- Link official sources. Every guide links to the official help pages so you can double-check.
- Re-check every 6–12 months. We review each guide regularly and whenever the software changes, and update the date when we do.
